My name is Mike, I am 31 years old and I am from the Czech Republic. I am writing this because I need help and I cannot solve my situation alone. It took a lot of courage to post this project. I am a very shy person, my mental health has its ups and downs, and asking for help is hard for me. I faced a lot of judgment in my life, but my physical pain forced me to try this.
I suffer from severe spine kyphosis. This causes constant, strong pain and makes it hard to breathe. Some time ago, mental health problems forced me to move back to my parents in a small village. My parents are old and they are not rich. I try to help them as much as I can. I pay them rent, money for wood, coal, electricity, and gas. I work from home for a few online stores. The pay is low, but it covers my food, medicine, and physical therapy. Sometimes I also work as a guide in our local mountains, but only rarely.
What is the main problem?
We live far away from cities. The nearest doctor is a 2 hour bus ride away. My main specialist is 4 hours away. Buses do not run often and they do not connect well. A trip to the doctor means spending 8 hours a day on buses. This is very painful for my back.
Recently, because traveling was too hard, I stopped going to my physical therapy. My back started hurting terribly again. Also, when I travel all day, I cannot work. If I do not work, I do not have money for doctors.
My Request
My big dream is to buy a simple, cheap used car. I do not need a luxury car. I just need an older car for trips to doctors, the pharmacy, and grocery shopping. My goal is to raise about $2,000 to buy a small reliable vehicle. I cannot save this money from my low income.
